My Girlie Office

Running a business from home, I need a space where I can work and keep my party supplies altogether. When we were planning the extension, we decided to turn our small toilet into an office. It was originally going to be a space primarily for my husband to study, but as the planning and building work took longer than expected, he’d actually finished his Masters before the room was ready. I therefore claimed it as my own, and decided to make it a beautiful place to be. It is still a work in progress, but welcome to my work space, my sanctuary.

I am fortunate that many of the beautiful things in my office were surprises from my amazing advent calendar. The beautiful little unit with hooks was a Christmas gift from my lovely friend Louise, who also made this gorgeous lamp:

I do love a little bit of Cath Kidston…

And to keep my memory sticks safe and easy to find, a little jar wrapped with ribbon:

So that’s my little space, and although it may not be grand, it makes me very, very happy…
